Pip and Hugo’s wedding was held in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay region and was full of elegance, rustic charm, and personal touches. The floral arrangements were particularly beautiful, all arranged in the family’s collection of Crown Lynn vases, with a mix of wildflowers, vintage roses, and delicate foliage. Pip and her mother had grown and arranged the flowers themselves, a true labour of love and a testament to the months of planning to create such a spectacular day.
Pip’s wedding dress was a stunning duo of silk and chiffon, designed by Kenny and Harlow. The dress featured a chiffon overlay, creating ethereal movement in the photos and a silk halterneck slip underneath which was the perfect dress change for the dance floor. Pip wore a family heirloom diamond hairpiece which added a touch of sentimental charm and flawlessly completed her look. Hugo’s bespoke tuxedo by RJB Design was a perfect match for Pip’s dress and the bridesmaids looked beautiful in their linen Dissh dresses, adding a touch of understated elegance to the occasion.
The ceremony was held in Pip’s parents’ beautiful garden. Every detail of the wedding had been so carefully planned with an emphasis on beauty and creativity. As a personal touch, Pip hand-painted ceramic place names for each of her guests and matched the menus, seating and ceremony signage with the same creative handwritten painting.
After the ceremony, the couple hosted an afternoon tea with wedding cake, served on delicate fine china and silverware. It was a lovely way to welcome guests and set the tone for the rest of the celebration. The wedding reception was held in a Flagship marquee elegantly decorated with soft, flowing fabrics and an abundance of flowers. It was a festive and joyous affair, with plenty of food, drink, and dancing.
