Beck & Isaac

PLAY
Beck and Isaac’s ceremony was held in late April in the garden at Beck’s family Vineyard in Marlborough. Rows of white chairs were set out before a large oak tree, and a nest of white flowers created by Bianca from Dirt Floral were placed on the ground to mark the point where Beck and Isaac were to stand. The carefully curated minimalism and understated simplicity was a nod to Beck’s profession as a fashion influencer and entrepreneur.

They kept a beautiful, chic black-and-white aesthetic for the wedding party. The two bridesmaids wore long, off-the-shoulder, black dresses by Bec and Bridge and they carried bunches of white roses. Beck’s gown – made by Kenny & Harlow – featured a strapless fitted bodice with a straight neckline and a full skirt with a train, and she wore a long tulle veil pinned in her hair. Isaac, wore a black tuxedo by Rembrandt with a black bow tie. The couple shared their vows beneath the oak tree, and afterwards, the guests threw white petals over them as they walked back down the aisle.

In the late afternoon, the guests gathered near the vines, sipping champagne in the Autumn sunlight. The reception was held under a marquee on the front lawn, the decor was kept white – white candles in silver candelabras, white roses in tall bud vases and white tablecloths – and above it all were hung strings of lights that crisscrossed the marquee. The wedding cake was two-tiered, white-iced, and at its top were set a few white roses. The evening’s food and drink were done in a casual way – passed about as the guests mingled, or sat at wine barrels on bar stools – and at 8 o’clock, a band started up for the dancing.

MY PHILOSOPHY

I SEEK THE STORIES THAT WEAVE US TOGETHER, THE UNSCRIPTED MOMENTS, INFUSED WITH A HINT OF NOSTALGIA TO REMEMBER HOW IT ALL FELT

Throughout our lives, we experience connection, learning, different cultures, good food and wine, music, sorrow, love … and it’s beautiful. It’s all these little things that when bought together create the tapestry of our lives and our memories.

If you’re planning a wedding or would love some beautiful photos of you and the people most special to you, I'd love to hear from you.

"may they never fade ~ the memories of this day we celebrated together"
