The wedding party had a pretty, mix-and-match look. The bridesmaids’ dresses were each of varying design, but all of the same black linen, and the flowers they carried – whilst all white and tied with blue ribbon – varied in type. Izzy’s gown, designed by Hera Couture, featured a fitted bodice with puffed sleeves and a full skirt, her look finished off with a long veil by Harriett Falvey. Hayden and the groomsmen wore black tuxedos, and they had white corsages pinned to their lapels.
Dinner was had beneath a canopy adjoining the hall. The tables were decorated with white tablecloths and arrangements of white flowers, and at each table setting was a blue card printed with the guest’s name. Above the tables, strings of lights were hung crisscrossed, and branches of mixed greenery were wound about the wooden stays and beams. Hayden, Izzy and their guests all sat for plates of roast lamb, chicken and potatoes, and slices of wedding cake with thick, creamy icing. After the dinner, they returned to the hall next door for the dancing.
